Dear 8th Grade Wildcat Families,
As part of the SMS end-of-the-year 8th grade activities, we will be taking a reward trip to DISNEYLAND on Friday, June 1st, 2018. This field trip will be an extended day trip. Students will arrive to school and check in to their first period classes and will return to Sullivan Middle School by 10:30pm. Students must be picked up NO LATER than 10:45pm.
During our time at Disneyland, students are still required to follow ALL school rules, as well as, Disneyland regulations. Our trip will be to Disneyland Park, not Disney California Adventure, nor Downtown Disney. To help ensure safety and security, students are NOT allowed to exit Disneyland Park during the trip prior to final departure.
If a student is Disneyland Annual Passholder, please have them bring their pass to the office to be photocopied, along with a $25 transportation fee (cash only) and permission form, no later than April 13th. Please make sure the pass will not be expired on June 1st. The student will be required to bring the pass the day of the event and use it for entrance to the park. The pass will remain in the student’s possession for the day. SMS is not responsible for lost or stolen passes.
Students will need to bring a bagged lunch, purchase one from the school cafeteria at their regular cost, or purchase one inside the park. If students have free or reduced lunch, a bagged lunch will be provided for them by the SMS cafeteria if designated on the permission form.
The cost for transportation and Disneyland admission is $110. Only cash or online payments will be accepted; please no checks. Online payments may be made at The Wildcat Workshop. Permission forms for online payments may be turned in to the office at any time prior to the April 13th deadline. Cash payments and permission forms will be accepted by Miss Meghann in the front office BEFORE SCHOOL and at LUNCH, Monday, April 9th through Friday, April 13th. All payments are non-refundable. The ABSOLUTE last day to submit both the permission slip and payment is Friday, April 13th, NO exceptions.
